    Good evening something has been on Woo's mind(such as it is):heehee: for quite a while ,I am not questioning the rule just trying to understand what it means:smile:

    The competition is of course based on the Integrity & Honesty of the entrants first & foremost...!!

    Surely it just means set the date and time on your camera?

          I actually wondered how you would know but its in the propertys of the pic,trust is foremost which i believe we all are on here :blue thumb:
          Not sure if you can reset the time if you use photo shop somehow

                One sentence contradicts the other
                I expect it is a deterent, to stop not reasonably Known users from lack of integrity to win, even posting up someone else's pic

                  I don't think I could trust myself with a camera.
                  I take a lot of photos with my phone and often when I'm showing them to my mum she'll say " what's that one then ? " and I'll reply " I don't know, probably my thumb ! " :oopss:

                  Mind you, she said I did take a good one of a piece of gravel the other day :heehee:

                      I always watermark mine in Lightroom... I've had a few that have been used without my permission on various websites.... I wouldn't mind if they credited the photographer, but to pinch them and make them out as their own gets me a bit narked.

                      So, watermark your photos peeps.

                            I seem to remember having looked at them, once. Didn't understand them so ignored them. :)

                            I make the assumption that everyone knows that the monthly competition means that the photo should be taken in that month.

                            I wouldn't know what an EXIF was if it jumped up and stared me in the face. I just thought that in a previous life it used to be an IF.

                            I do remember that a photo was once removed from the competition for having been altered and enhanced but don't know of any others. I guess that the rule doesn't need to be stated in that way as the winning photo can/should always be checked and, if there's a discrepancy, the photographer can be asked.

                            As there is such a big cash prize I cheat all the time :lunapic 130165696578242 5:
