Has any of you, in the UK, ever grown Rosa "Oklahoma"?
I have a spot where I think it would look great, BUT.....

When I lived in Sydney, Aus, I could grow HT roses but they never flourished, with the exception of Oklahoma. It was very floriferous with highly scented red flowers which were "blushed" with black.
It appears to be the State flower of Oklahoma and was developed in the state.

I have found it listed. One said it was a climber, another said it grew to 100cm. Mine was not a climber and it was getting on for 2 meters. One common comment was that it liked hot conditions.
Hmm. Could that be why it is not easy to find, it just doesn't like our climate? Maybe that's why she's such a hot rose.:spinning::spinning: A couple that didn't flourish were Blue Moon and Double Delight, which I think flourish here.
Hence my query. Any one grown it?
