Just having a bit of a rant...

I'm going to have a bit of a rant today, I feel so upset and angry. My mother died in May five years ago and the last couple of weeks of her life were spent in a hospice, they were very understanding and cared for my mother very well, I have a lot of praise for them.My father and I make regular donations to the charity, but why do they have to send out an extra a donation letter at this time of the year. My mother is always at the forefront of my mind at this time of year and I'll never forget her but I find it quite insensitive of them to do this at this time.

I apreciate that they rely on donations but a bit of thought wouldn't go amiss.!!!

Hi,i don't blame you for being upset & angry right now dalbuie & to have a "rant" as you say will probably help release these feelings.
Does seem to be rather insensitive i agree,if only attention could be paid to the anniversary of loved ones passing,ie.perhaps a note kept with their mailing list.
