@MostlyVegsSouthCotswolds oh I'm awful sorry but I give up with the Rhodo.. I put him in the front garden in the ground last year, something stripped it bare. Thought shite, leave it hope for the best.. come spring I put it in a pot and around the back.. it was so ugly, very few buds or leaves.. then eventually it went brown so I slung it over the back..(secretly hoping it was in shock and somehow root on the banking lol) but if I do come across the post will deffo have a read as I'd really like to grow the three that are being sold together by parkers..

Yes we can name drop shops & sites, it's really helpful to know how others have got on with company's, also we inform each other of special offers/bargains!
Rhododendrons can be tricky! They need ericacious (acidic) soil & need feeding with Rhodedendrum feed! I'm giving one ago at the moment I have everything crossed!
@Lynd you shall certainly have a trug full of veg like that next year! We will all help you

 

Thanks @Beckie76, such lovely colour on them too! Yes I now know that about the different soils lol ..made huge mistakes last year, wasted a lot of money and time but it all sunk in so shouldn't make them again, hopefully!
