I must buy through Amazon at least a couple of times a month (about eight times this past month) and have taken advantage of these penny bargains which is worth the couple of pounds I have to pay for postage to here. In saying that, I have bought many things through Amazon from China for a penny and then pay no postage at all ... so has t'other half through E-bay (which I don't use) ... how can they do that? :noidea:  :dunno:

I've had a few 1p books off Amazon. They are indeed bargains, but not 1p bargains. How much is P&P? I've usually paid about £3 each for my 1p books.

I use Amazon regularly - already this month I have bought jam jars, carpet shampoo, G4 bulbs, tea-towels, dog toy, and a new set of four deep stock pots..... compared with High Street prices, I have saved a fortune.

I use Amazon a lot too. I'm a prime customer and get quite a lot free p&p. Life's too short to trek down the High Street looking for bits and bobs. And it's nearly always a lot cheaper on Amazon,

I use Amazon quite a bit, if it`s free p&p I buy it, my sister who never moves from her home office, uses it for everything, she is a prime customer, so if p&p apply I send her the link she orders it delivered to me, and I transfer the cash to her bank account.

Does Amazon Prime apply to stuff sold on market place? I thought Prime was just for actual Amazon sales, whereas the market place stuff is just third parties using Amazon's site just as a way to get themselves online. I see Amazon market place as the same as eBay but with less likelihood of either getting ripped off or smashing your computer up in frustration at having been told by PayPal yet again that the password you know is right is actually wrong.

I believe it covers anything sold through Amazon, also prime customers get next day delivery if ordered in time.

just a thought but has anyone thought to do a type of online library? where people can swap /loan books for return in a specific time frame? just a thought but could be an idea? where i live we have a free book shop:) you can get up to 3 books at a time. Any books you no longer need you hand in so its recycling all the time:)
