that your day cannot get any worse ......... this morning ( on way to buy compost ) I saw a dog run over :cry3:

I spent the afternoon filling my lovely, old, roll top bath with compost and plants. We put it under the bedroom window. It took me 4 hours as I didn't rush and stopped for coffee a couple of times and to admire the fruits of my labour. I was quite pleased with the results, Then hubby comes home and reverses my car into the bath. My bath is wrecked, the plants are wrecked, my car is damaged and there is a large hole in my house :yikes:

Good God in Govan! You've had a shocker of a day. I prescribe plenty of hugs :grphg::grphg: (and I suspect your hubby might appreciate a few too, as I'd like to bet he feels terrible right now), and a peaceful evening with GC (and maybe a wee glass of something medicinal just to steady your nerves).

I am more upset about the dog and the bath than the damage to my house and car. I stopped to help but the people who had hit the dog were there and then the farmer turned up so wasn't anything I could do. Poor dog's back legs were pretty mangled and she was in shock :cry3:

I know the bath was free but its been something of a labour of love for me and I felt like I had achieved something on a personal level with it. I am not particularly creative but I was proud of what I managed to create. I spent 2 hours painting it, 4 hours to fill and plant it ( not to mention the time spent choosing plants ). I had only just finished it, about half an hour before he arrived home and was taking a shower when it happened.
