Kedi-Gato goes on holiday

where to? - Portugal
guess who we'll see? - Lady of Leisure
guess who she is? - my Kid Sis!

Hubby and I will be flying down this coming Saturday as LofL and t'other will be going to Merrie Olde England for a brief spell to attend to some business. I think LofL mentioned that somewhere not so long ago.

While there we'll take some pics of us all together and LofL will put them up. I've got most everything packed, including the Indian Red Peach stones that a few of you want. LofL will probably mail them from England so you'll have them by the end of next week.

The last time we were down there was in May-June 2004 so we will see a lot of new things in the garden and house. I've seen a lot on GC but seeing it in real is better still.

Hi Kedi-Gato.Hope you have a nice time over in Portugal,and I hope your sister LOL has a nice break over here.I think she said she would be visiting the IOW.
I hope she brings some sunshine with her,because at the moment we could do with some.

I'm back from the UK on the 17th so you can hear of my trip before you go ... don't think I'll have time to go back to Ventor Botanical Gardens, however, in such a short time. Shame .. I have a few shrubs here from there ... fantastic place!

 

Hubby and I arrived here last evening and we sat up late talking to LofL and t-other. We went over things this morning and they left here at 11.30am, arriving at Guarda in good time, where they are spending the night. They will call us again tomorrow around 2pm when they get to Santander to get the ferry over to England. We have made friends with the kittens, Cal even slept in our bed last night. Today Candi decided that we are to be trusted and comes to us now too. Magic Sam (Boo)is still a bit wary, but he has always been like that and will be over it in a day or two. I'll keep you posted as to what is going on here day by day.

strongylodon - our next-door neighbours are cat- and house-sitting for us

Gogs - we always enjoy Portugal. England is about the same as Germany at the moment, so LofL will need to put a sweater on.
