Knight School

    Just heard on local TV news that a school in Lincolnshire has started a 'Knight School' teaching the young children the chilvary and courtesey that existed years ago. Parents have found that the children are much more kind and considerate to each other since attending these classes!
    Good idea?

    Well isn't it what their parents should teach them anyway!

    Sorry I may be old fashioned but I like a man to open a door for me, stand when I enter a room, and pull the chair back for me when I sit at a table - aahh where are they all.

    Having said that I do pay half the bill when being asked out and do the toughest jobs in the garden!

    "Piece" in Scotland = sandwich, e.g. jam piece.

    Ergo, "Cod piece" = fish sandwich.
