      So something the French are willing to pay £400 a kilo for we can get for £2.65 at Tescos.:scratch:

      Makes sense, the French seem to have a tradition of making food "sound" expensive.:D

      Tesco's £2.65 a kilo
      A bag is agricultural terms for 56lbs
      I do not know how that collates to £400 though

      after reading this thread lastnight ... checked at my local village tesco today when I went for the daily shopping ... (it's a fairly large tesco and not a Tesco express) ...

      none here yet, so perhaps only the large tesco superstores will stock them?
