Getting a bit fed up with winning pillow cases from Premier Inns. Not a place we have ever visited.
Watch out for this scam email purporting to be Premier Inn. Email says take survey and claim 2 piece pillow set. Don't respond this is a scam.

For anyone using Android and getting unsolicited calls (despite being registered with the TPS) I'd heartily recommend Google's own calling app, it's great at detecting scams and it's great to have your phone not even ring with just random voicemails left from the call centres with just the background noise as without anyone picking up they just give up after a minute. Also by highlighting numbers and blocking them helps everyone else as they're added to their list.

Had an Email today purporting to be from the car tax people in Swansea. Very authentic looking except for the address of the sender. Could easily take one in if you are expecting a demand for Car tax. We knew it was phishing as we have a record of paying the tax in September, not April. Be careful!

I had a phone call last week from someone who wanted to renew the maintenance cover on my Sky equipment. I asked how long I had had it for and how much per month it was. 3 years and £11.99 per month. I then asked to speak to arrange a refund as I never authorised the payment.
Strangely, no refund has arrived in my bank account. We have Virgin Media here.
