    Hello all.
Im wondering what lighting will help my houseplants including phaleanopsis orchids, peace lily, rubber plant, aloe etc.
My problem is living room and bedroom are north facing so no sunlight. I would like something cheapish was thinking maybe t8s. All seem to be doing ok so i maybe dont need to do anything as i can put them in the kitchen on sunnier days of need be.
    What do you all think???

    Just my opinion.

But I would swap them for plants that don't need a lot of light.
    Ferns, some Bromeliads etc.

      Hi Phalnoob.

Lighting can get a bit expensive if you use it over a long period. I think you need to get them as close to the window as possible. I have a light meter, and its amazing how quickly the light falls off if you move just a couple of feet away from the window
