Longleat - A WARNING TO EVERYONE

I think I've previously read about members of another forum asking how to remove unwanted followers and being informed it can only be done by the follower.

 

This is what I like about GC. I don't know about anyone else - but I'm wary of any new members - it could be anyone with nefarious motives.

I have 26 Followers, most of whom are no longer on GC, but the frustrating one is my sister Kedi-Gato who died seven years ago!

 

I'm sorry about your sister @Victoria, I don't know if I'd want her avatar showing if she was my sister, it would make me feel too sad. Some would find it comforting. How do you feel about it ?

 

I'm sure admin can do something about that! I lost my sister three years ago and I still tear up when I think of her so I know how you must feel at this constant reminder. In the meantime, I'll try to think of you as having your sister watching over you.

 

Not so bad actually. Her Avatar was of her Portuguese cat Kedi-Gato (Cat-Cat, Turkish-Portuguese). I never look there anyway and sometimes when I am searching back for things I come across her postings. I got her to join GC just after I did and she loved photography as I do and posted beautiful photographs of her homes in Germany and Florida.

I like metal artwork and recently got a cat which I named Kedi after her. She was a cat lover too and always had them, mostly Siamese.

It is okay, it almost seems worse to remove her. Thank you though.

 

We use to go to Longleat a lot when our brood were young as it's not too far from us . We use to take our caravan ,the boy's loved it!! The animals, the maze, the Dr Who museum, the tours of the house, our eldest who was about 10 at the time, was permitted to sit on the big throne like chair at the top of the main stairs which is normally not allowed.

Have to admit to not really taking much notice of the gardens ..too busy keeping my eyes on the boys and the lions!!!

 

I have my Dad and various deceased relatives still on my phone and and in my address book. I also have a message from my Dad on my answer phone too...I could never delete them either.
