    Lucky to catch the Stoat Glen, they move so fast. The black tip to the tail is visible at least.
    Great pics.:gnthb::gnthb:

    Glen, I love that second picture of the stoat :gnthb:. Were you panning the shot?

    When I go on my next lot of travels I shall be going to Komodo. So I hope I can get a shot of a dragon without it taking a bite out of me :). If I manage to spot one I shall post it up here.

    Thanks for the comments periwinkle and shiney, I was panning when I took the action photo but I can't say I was trying to get the action shot, I was just clicking constantly, hoping i was pointing the camera in the right direction and that the auto focus would work:gnthb:!!!

    Komodo Dragons sound fun, I've only ever seen them on TV and I'm sure the small screen really doesn't do them justice. When do you go?? The Marine iguana's on the Galapagos island were like miniature dragons, I really must put some of the photo's on here when I get chance.

    Hi Glen,

    We shall be going later in the year. I understand that the Komodos can get up to 11ft long so I reckon that any photos I might get may be a bit blurry and shaky :hehe:. We shall see :)

    We've now arranged all our cat sitting, bird sitting, house sitting and garden sitting for when we are away. :D

    Shiney, I am envious of your trip, anywhere else other than Komodo?

    Komodo Dragons

    As promised, here are a few shots - taken using the zoom :hehe:

    We were told that the dragons are not only happy to eat humans but that their saliva on a cut can be fatal. That is the usual way they get their prey. They attack and just give one bite. Then they let their prey get away and find them a couple of days later when they have died from sepsis!

    These lot didn't look too interested in us and I think that the Rangers may have fed them recently.

    I think that these are some of their main prey.

    Fruit Bats

    These are a problem because they are destroying the trees but they are a protected species.:(
