March 2006 Photo Competition VOTES

A great mixture of photos.I knew you folk would come up with the goods

1st jjordie. Sophie waiting for her dinner break,and very brave to be up on that!
2nd Dendrobium. Cat waiting for a break in the weather. You wouldn't put your milk bottles out in weather like that..never mind a cat.
3rd Rosietu. Boris really knows how to take a break. I saw the original sized picture and it's a cracker!

 

1st. jjordies neighbour`s cat on the wall.
2nd. jjordies son.
3rd. michaelmasdaisy`s cat in lobelia.
it was hard to choose,everyone`s entries were so good.

2nd Marge, Forest glade
3rd Paladin, Kip cat.

 

So many real crackers to choose from. So to make it easier I've restricted myself to those with a horticultural context which sadly rules out a couple of Petal's otherwise super pics, as well as a few other really first class submissions.

My votes for March Competition. Lots lovely pics again and hard to choose between them, so as I like cats they got my votes: (except no.1)

what a great subject, and a wide variety of pics, very hard to choose.

1st is palustris's little bird having a nap (ahhh)

2nd is frogeque's basking seal

and 3rd Marge, the little deer taking a break.

Good photos ... diffficult choice

 

1. Dave W - Man on Chair in Sea - it made me laugh
2. Frogescue - Basking Seal - brilliant balance and I loved the smile on his face.

Lots of animals taking breaks this month and all good pictures making if hard to choose.
