    After hearing of the death of Ruth Pearson it got me Googling and I was shocked to read that 4 members of the iconic dance group Pans People have passed away !

    Teenage memories came flooding back to me of watching them on Top of the Pops and trying desperately to copy their dance routines.....and failing badly!:)

    Ah.. memories!!

      Hadn't realised so many from the group had died too, shame as 70 is no age these days.

      Went to a friends Birthday party years ago, she lived next door to a Pans Person and they all came along, the disco was hilarious because they had their hubbies/partners with them and gave us a performance, wasn't quite sure if it was meant to be funny but the fellas were giving it their all Ed Balls style.

                  @pete he played Jesus in the 1977 production called Jesus of Nazareth and after watching it I always imagined that is what Jesus looked like when he was on this earth:smile:

                          I still have memories of meeting Richard Attenborough and his wife, actress Sheila Sims, in the 1940's - got the photo somewhere :scratch:

                          Met Eartha Kitt in 1951 - fantastic person and performer :love30:

                          Met Danny Kaye around the same time, I think! Another fantastic performer.

                          Met Julie Andrews, Rex Harrison, Stanley Holloway and a lot of the cast of My Fair Lady at the Dress Rehearsal for the show in the Theatre Royal. 1958

                          And knew a lot of the pop stars from the 1960's

                          A lot of those meetings are still quite vivid in my memory. :) :old:
