Monument valley Flight in a Cessna, I was in the Co- pilot's seat and couldn't see over the cockpit:rolleyes: I had to twist sideways to take pics and without getting the wing strut in the way, had a stiff neck after the first 30 pics.:D

What a wonderful way to sightsee! I think this way you really got to appreciate it all, more than if you'd been driving along.

Fantastic shots again, Strongy, thanks for sharing. :thumb::thumb:

    :) Welcome back Strongy.

Some holiday you've had there mate.
Been looking through some of your pics. and see it was no ordinary summer holiday.
The Grand Canyon was fantastic and the Monument Valley landscapes awesome.
The wild life pics too..............That camera's done you proud.

Lots of old memories for me strongy.
    it still looks the same.

Is that sunrise over Monument Valley?

Rainbow bridge from the air, I saw it from the ground.

Nice to know they've not built a load of house there, yet.:D

Bryce Canyon, Utah. this is more an amphitheartre than a canyon but the amazing orange and white colours of the Hoodoos (needles) was jaw dropping.

As I remember Bryce is a fair bit higher than the Grand Canyon.
    Rubys inn comes to mind:D

Smaller but more intricate, than GC.

Its amazing what the weather can do to a bit of sandstone.:)
