    I should have found this forum earlier. Sorry.

    Hi. I've not posted for some while. I have this weed spreading in my garden. small yellow flower just beginning to come out today. I was concerned that it might be ground elder but not so.

    Can anyone identify it for me.

      Thanks for that. it most certainly is that plant. It seems impervious to the weed killer that I tried and because I have been out of the country twice since I asked the question it is growing rather well. I am off again for a week but when I finally get home for a long spell, I shall, I suspect, have to bite the bullet and dig it out, all around the garden.
