Thank you everyone for your help and advice in my recent thread about moving established roses.

I think I may have a problem, however. My father in law died suddenly nearly two weeks ago, and we have not been at home at the weekends. We are planning on getting some things done this weekend, and I was planning on moving the roses, but I looked today and there are leaf buds forming!

Does this mean I am too late to move them as dormant roses?

As Woo suggests I would also move them. They are only just coming out of dormancy now and you'll be fine.

Sorry to hear about your family's loss.
