Hi all, im new to the forums but have been gardening for 3 years.

I bought some hanging baskets a while back but they were cheap and unfortunately they died :(

I was about to chuck them out when i noticed something growing which was nothing like the plants that were in the hanging baskets. So i replanted it in another pot and it has been growing ever since.

Its around 20cm tall so far and has alot of foliage.

Could anyone identify the plant for me thanks

It's difficult for me to see much from the photo, but looks like a Chrysanthemum to me.

Well, it still looks like a chrysanthemum. When you rub the leaves, do they have a strong herby aroma, even somewhat medicinal? Is there any sign of buds in the tops of the leaf stems, cos if it is a chrysanth it should be getting ready to flower right now?

God know how long it was growing for in the baskets but it has also been growing in a greenhouse so that might have sped things up a bit?
