New here help identifing what's growing

    I'm back from vacation and these unidentified plants are now nearly 7 feet tall. I don't think it's what you posted in the picture, the leaves on this are way bigger and different shaped. They are now blocking out back window and the fiance is getting mad lol. I was hoping something would flower but it hasn't. If I can't figure it out soon it's getting the axe.

      You could see how the top have now changed from being flat to the leaves all starting to gather around the little Xmas tree at the top.

      I still go with Amaranth as posted above, everything still looks right for it, leaves, stems and flower buds, it's supposed to have become a serious weed problem in some parts of the USA and there's a glyphosate resistant strain.

        The more pictures I'm looking at, I think you are right. We did not plant that and had the whole area weeded before planting the vegetable seeds. No one in my neighborhood has this growing and has never seen it, maybe it was in the seed packets that were supposed to be vegetables. They are very close to where he planted. The cucumbers next to them are struggling, should I remove these?
