New member, new to gardening!

    Hi guys!
    New member from Scotland (near Loch Lomond)
    Moved into new place in December and want to get a small garden in order.
    I have absolute zero knowledge or experience when it comes to gardening other than being able to cut grass and weed!
    I have a young daughter and would like to start growing some veg (carrots peas potatoes onion lettuce etc) and get her involved too. Plan to do this in the small area (in pic - have turned half over so far) I have as well as some pots/boxes.
    Lots of small roots in the soil not sure if it’s a problem or if the soil is even any good!
    Will be visiting here to steal everyone’s knowledge
