    Hi guys,

I have just taken delivery of 2 Salix Flamingo trees any advice as to how to give them the best start? Also a Cherry Almond tree (Prunus Triloba). As a novice I don’t know what these mat things are do I need to keep them or are they just to stop the soil coming out during transit?

    Thanks in advance

Those plants just need planting out.
Don't think I would pot grow them but others might.
    See what they say.
Those things on the barbqe look really tasty, not.

I'd guess just there for transit. ;)

The mat things will help suppress weeds and grass around the trees.
