Well weird is a bit extreme, but not looking totally normal!

My mum bought me an English Miss rose for my birthday. I've planted it out and the leaves have gone slightly curly?

What could be the reason for this? Any ideas?

The one directly next to it, which I planted the same day is looking really healthy.

Leaf curl is usually either water shortage-which wh can rule out because the one to the side is fine ( although just check to be sure), or a pest-if you don't mind using provado insecticides I would use that.

    Pics would help.

No I use some chemicals when the need arises! Unfortunately I don't have the time with three kids in toW to use more time consuming methods. I will water it well everynight and if no improvement will use the zapper!!!! Thank you Claire!

If you spray soapy water on the foliage and stems, that can make life a bit more difficult for aphids, as they can't grip on as good. Bug spray would of course be more effective, but it also kills off mini-predators that dine on the pests. Maybe bug spray when there is already an infestation, soapy water as a deterrent.
