    Hi all,

    I've just joined the forum so thought i'd say hi! I currently work as a gardener at a Zoo for 5 years but worked in grounds maintenance for 3 years before that.
    I have developed quite an interest in tropical plants, and the challenges they bring trying to get them to succeed in not only a UK indoor environment but also the zoo one too. I also enjoy 'normal' gardening, learning about trees ( I've just done a tree climbing course, scary as hell at first!) And I'm doing a distance learning course for a rhs 2 theory certificate in horticulture, would love to go to college and do it but it's not really an option :-(

    Sorry to make that sound like a cv, introducing myself isn't my strong point!

    I look forward to browsing and hopefully contributing to the forum :-)
