      Hi
I have a feeling most of us have only had a few days off :heehee:

The Intranet is great for cross refrencing and checking prices and pottering about on here

Where did you hear January is going to be freezing?

I've spent most of the christmas period cutting back trees.
All I need now is a dry day with a bit of a breeze to get a good bonfire going, on a weekend.:help:

To be honest Pete lol, my mate said his mate heard from some guy that predicts the weather (that's not the weatherman) and he said its going to be the coldest January in 100 years lol :o

Oh well, we seem to have more weather experts these day than we need.

          Just wait and see.:)

How do you mean 'start'? and 'again'?

That would imply that we've stopped. I think this is the busiest time of year in the garden. Once spring comes and everything is growing, it more or less looks after its self. This is tidy up time, reorganise time, planning, most tree work etc.

I know what you mean but I think maybe what I mean is the seasons...like spring It's just round the corner!! :D and It's certainty true we spend less times in our gardens this time of year, like we are hibernating for now but soon we will wake up and start flowering :D

My 2012 planting plan is nearly complete. Three weeks to my gardening year start :yay: I get my chilli seeds into the prop around the 21st , then a week later the Canna seeds. Then thats it until around the 1st of March when I start everything else .

I thought your thread was refering to my iminent retirement.:D:yess:
Strangely I've spent more time gardening this month than I have in the last twenty years or so (mainly because I've not had a decent garden to work on) Like Pete I've been cutting back trees and also planting palms, making new beds, preparing a veg patch and sorting out a greenhouse.

I know what you mean Hydro, in Spring I will be going at it like a headless Chicken!:D

Have they not moved the goalposts for you then Strongy? Didn't think we could retire any more.
