having now retired I am busy reclaiming overgrown beds and shrubberies from the grip of brambles and nettles which the birds helped propagate during the last seven years or so when I worked away from home Monday to Friday.

We live in Bridlington on the East coast and my garden (including the house) chains out at 1/3 of an acre.

I am tackling small section one at a time and this year have grown vegetables for the first time in years.
Also I am kept busy too with approx 50 Chrysanthemum plants raised from cuttings.

Am happy to chat should anyone feel so inclined.

    David

Hi Shiney & M, thanks for the response.

Yes I have always loved Chrysanths and treat myself to six early spray last year. The number of cuttings which took proved to be a fluke seeing as it was my first time in taking them.

The vege growing has been limited this first year and consists of courgettes - climbing french beans - turnip - beetroot - broad bean & tomatoes.
We have enjoyed our crops off them so far.

Your fingers must be greener than you first thought :heehee: Well done on that achievement though, I always feel a sense of achievement when a cutting takes
