Hi IP, is it deciduous, evergreen, has it ever flowered at any time & is it a tree or a shrub plant. Slow growing, self seeded or planted. Do you think it is turning purple for autumn colour.?? Just can't make up my mind from the photo, sorry...

sorry about the picture it wasnt the best.and the info was rather a bit poor too.think its a small growing tree by the look of it .it was a moving in present 2/3 years ago but came with no info
but it loses all leaves in the next 6 weeks then in the spring time it has really small nice white flowers so looking at whis4eys pics it seems its
a prunus incisa [IMG] mines a year younger than the one it shows at four years old but how big can i expect it to grow say over 10 years. the shape of branches remind me of a daddy long legs
    thanks for the help

[IMG] Oh yes I agree. Nice one Whis4ey.. If it is one of the ornamentals it could grow to 3ft x 8ft after 10yrs. So I would keep it trimmed to the size you want it to be. They like to be trimmed in early to mid summer. Very attractive plants... Nice present. Look up the varieties again when it is in flower & you may be able to work out which one it is.... ;)
