not sure what this is

    PLANT.jpg thought i had lost this plant with winter in 2010 and pulled it out last year only to find it was still alive but didn't like being dug up. want to get another and not sure what it is? is it a leptospermum? or a PITTOSPORUM or something similar. went more pinky reda at different time of year. can anyone help please

    PLANT.jpg can anyone help with what this is, thought i'd lost in winter 2010 so dug it up only to find it shooting up from bottom ,but didn't like being dug up. looks similar to pittosporum but don't think it is one.

    Presumably it is evergreen?

    unfortunately this is all i have from past photos of the garden that i've edited. yes its evergreen, lovely shades of red with lighter red tinges on new growth

    Hi Bushy & Welcome.. If it is not a Pittosporum could it be a Loropetalum chinese Rubrum.. I only ask as a friend of mine has one which looks a bit like your photos..

    Hard to tell from the pic but it could be a pittosporum or maybe a berberis. Is it spiky at all?

    I don't think Pittosporum Purpureum changes colour much. Loropetallum is more spreading, at least mine is. It could be Letpospermum but is too distant for a positive ID
