I have dropped a bit of a clanger; as I got out of the shower about fifteen mins ago, Mrs C asked me to start the potatoes off (for roasties) and get the goose fat in the oven; so, being the thoroughly domesticated wee chap that I am, I came downstairs, went to the outhouse and dug out a good handful of nice potatoes and set about peeling them.....

Once they were peeled, I turned around to get a compostable bag for the peelings, only to spot a pot on the cooker - - - full of ready peeled potatoes standing in water ready to cook!

So, I now have a spare pot of peeled potatoes and not a clue what to do with them. They are standing in water at the moment. Can I par-boil/boil them then cool them to use somehow (roasties?) tomorrow?

Nah, I haven't grown potatoes yet, despite having the desire to. I don't have the room, mainly because I have so many flowers and other fruit and veg....

If this property was my own, I reckon almost 50% of the garden would be given over to food crops.....
