Very interesting. Personally, I find it harder to read than a conventional font, but then I'm not dyslexic (I'm just a bit thick :snork:). Seriously though, its good to see that solutions are being sought to help those with dyslexia, rather than simply leaving them to deal with it.

Well, as we all know, FC, Dyslexia has nothing to do with a lack of intelligence in fact just the opposite. There are some extremely intelligent, bright people that I know as colleagues and friends, some I hired when recruiting for firms because of their undoubted abilities and talents.:snork:

Absolutely agree Armandii, and apologise if I gave that inference - it was not intended.

Actually, FC, you didn't. It was just that over time I have become aware of the ignorance of people when it came to disassociating Dyslexia from lesser intelligence and this thread was a good opportunity to highlight the fact.:snork:

A great idea, although I'm not dyslexic, it would be interesting to get feed back from any members of GC who try it. :)

recommended that italics be avoided in reading material for dyslexia.

That why I`m dyslectic , because I`m italic :patpat:

Not all slow readers are dyslexic, but when you've seen exceptionally high creativity levels coupled with near panic when trying to cope with print you know something unusual is going on. I've only seen this particular level of difficulty in maybe 1 in 200 children though. In most cases the problem, and the talent is much milder.
