Well, I know it is the wrong time of the year to be buying roses but I just couldn't resist getting them. I am going to keep them in the garage ( which is really cold ) but not freezing, and keep them well watered, any reasons why my new 'babies' won't stay healthy until Spring?

    "and keep them well watered"

They won't need much during the winter ...

Are they bare rooted?if so they can go in when we have a mild spell (well, a "non frozen spell")

Well I was thinking that had I managed to plant them they would be getting a lot of water outside so I was trying to kind of simulate the 'outside' but without the frosts!!! No they are potted, could they go in if we have a non frozen spell?

I would advise keeping them in their pots in your garage:)

Yes I will do that then, but how much water should I give them? How moist should the soil be?
