Outrageous price hike !!

    Went into Waitrose today to buy my stock of goats butter(nowhere else I can buy it where I live).

    The last lot I bought 3 weeks ago was priced at £1.60 a packet, today they cost me £1.90 a packet !!

    How can they justify that sort of price increase?:ouch1:

    Ask them; see what they come back with.

    I'm wondering if the appalling weather has anything to do with it? Soured food stores maybe, or lack of fodder?

    Just looked on their website ... they sell goats double cream. May be worth making your own butter from that? :dunno:
