Shoot a member of staff a pm if you continue to have problems finding your way around. We're always here to help. You can see who is online by looking here Forum Leaders. A red or green spot beside their name means they are online.

Er ... perhaps I'm being thick again. But, although I've managed to get things up and running, I don't seem to be able to stay permanently logged in as I did under the old system. This means that I have to enter a very unwieldy gobbledigook password every time I visit the forum and there doesn't seem to be an option to change the password to something more memorable ... or am I missing something?

Clare, have you tried going into User CP / Your Control Panel / Your Profile / Edit Your Details / Email & Password?

If you cant find that, just log in and click forgotten password, you'll then get an email with a new password, log in with that & it'll give you the option to change it.

I had the logging off without asking for it problem. You'd write a message and try to post it and then find you couldn't because you'd been logged out and that would repeat itself again and again.

I think Daisee and the gang have done a cracking job to deal with all the things going wrong and solving them - so thank you all!!

I am finding that when I first get up the log in page its asking for me to log in, I then get a "thanks for logging in " page, but it appears I'm not actually logged in., but actually I am.

Because as soon as I click one of the top buttons my name appears on the top of the next page.
But I think it was doing that with the previous set up.
