    Just heard on the news that Patrick Swayze of Dirty Dancing fame has just weeks to live after battling with Pancreatic Cancer. :(

    The world is going to miss an outstanding actor and heartthrob... :( [​IMG] [​IMG]

    Nathan,I don't read newspapers as they always tell packs of lies :rolleyes: Any free newspapers that we get go straight into the guneia pig hutch for them to do their buisness on :D

    I just heard it on the BBC1 news this morning briefly and if the BBC say it is right then it must be [​IMG] :D

    Which ever way it is he and is family are in our thoughts and [​IMG] ers

    Pancreatic cancer used to be the most virulent form of the disease and was largely asymptomatic as well so by the time it was discovered it was already too late. Many patients have I nursed in that state.

    However, of late, tests have been devised, along with MRI scans, that can pick up evidence very early so that with chemotherapy, the condition can be treated. Which is good news for the Swayzes.
