Yes, seems we would get a better deal like yours in the second year.

Will give them a few more days to see if they come up with a better offer.

Just loaded up the Sophos Home Suite which also gets decent reports, but have to say though it may be good at doing its job, its user interface is a pain.

You need to specify many settings on or off yourself and as happened during the tea break, there was a message saying it had detected a suspicious file , in an old backup folder, how to find out more, instead of just clicking on the message, you have to go online, log in, await an email for a verification message - what a pain - suppose its aimed at the folk who just keep everything open and online all the day and night ??
Same with thier Mobile App, loads of settings to specify - too much for us !

Just a little update, Eset keep sending Buy Me mails but for their Internet Security suite but for 3 devices ( 2 pc+1 android) its still £50 !

Been trying Bitdefender and its seems good and quiet with no problems so far and for 3 devices it costs just £25.
      Computeractive Software Store - Bitdefender Total Security 2021 [5-Device, 1-YR] - 64% off RRP

The only problem with it and all the other suite like Eset is that they insist on having your banking details with a Recurring Payment arrangement.
We were always warned against using these, or are we being outdated these days ?

Recurring Payment is much less of an issue than it was, particularly if you do it using a credit card (gives you more protection) - most companies are very good at cancelling if and when you want to cancel, but in the event you do have an issue, you let the credit card provider sort it out.
