I have a pear tree that is bearing fruit well, but unfortunately some of the young fruit is falling off. The leaves have what looks like some kind on insect infection (darker green than the leaf) and some branches are dying.

Any help or suggestion would be gratefully received.

    Thank you

    Shaun

Hiya Shaun, I wouldn't worry too much about some fruit falling off, this is natural, and helps the tree to produce decent sized fruit.
As to the leaves, well thats something else, are the leaves curled up, or rolled at all?

No they are still maintaining their shape, just with these small spots on them. The main worry I had was the branches that were dying.
