Pet insurance

    As addendum to my previous post, and remembering the past discussion on vaccination - which I do not intend to revisit.

    Those of you with pet insurance, check your policy - if its the same as mine, failure to carry out recommended vaccination etc will invalidate the policy.

    We put by so much each month as "insurance" in our own bank account (we have jam jars with IF) for pet insurance ... we also do it for our private medical and for vehicles, appliances, etc, etc. We gave up years ago on these rip-off artists and do it ourselves now ... so far, so good.

    True - very true. You have to keep them vaccinated.

    Not with Pet Plan you don't. I have already been intouch with them and asked, they say they do not inforce vaccination in order to insure the animal but if your animal gets ill and it's proven that a vaccination would have prevented the illness, then they won't pay out. After all vaccinations won't prevent a broken leg etc.
