            @Love my chicken my ladybird looks like a harlequin. It has two white patches at the front. We have so many in the house at times and they are all sorts of colours and spots.

                I posted a picture of my Amaryllis today. A bit of a 'cheat' as it is an indoor Spring plant but its history is interesting. I got this Amaryllis over 2 years ago and it did nothing but produce 3 weedy leaves. I kept it in my dining room - watering it when I remembered and all of a sudden - and unnoticed at first - this year it produced a flower spike with 4 amazing flowers.                     I was surprised too. It's in an ancient woodland managed by Nottinghamshire wildlife trust. There was also lots of wood anemones and lesser celandines but I expected those.
