          ...I've been wracking my brain trying to think of a possible photo for the title. Silly me, I thought we had to have an example of both old and new in the same photo.

          Now you've opened my eyes, and my options!

                I'm a bit late to this conversation :doh:

                A lot of the time I don't enter the competition because I don't have time to go out to take photos that fit the brief, but I do agree with the 'current month' rule.

                I have somewhere around 70,000 photos stored on my computer and it seems it would be a bit unfair for me to use the vast choice I happen to have in order to enter the competition.

                @Sian in Belgium I would have said that wherever you live is your home town. :blue thumb:

                  I do love where we now live, but it is in a foreign country, and we have only lived here for 4 years - just!

                  Although we lived in HW for over a decade, I still feel my roots are deep in the Welsh Marches...

                      So true in some ways.

                      I definitely feel like I will be driving Home today, but that is more the house, the garden, the neighbourhood. But I don't feel like the town is my home town. Not sure if that makes sense, but that's how it is...?!
