    " Oh yes.. I forgot..they dont work"

Thats the quote I got after opening the fridge door to get out the Pineapple I lovingly dismembered and HID added the strawberry jelly all ready for our tea time snack.

" Pineapple and strawberry jelly do not set"

So, my question is: Why does strawberry jelly not set when mixed with pineapple?:scratch:

Bromelain in the Pineapple reacts with pectin to make it so it won't set. Heating the pineapple first kills of the bromelain so it will work.
