        And because of the shape of the root nodules:snork: Think that might be one of those old, "if it looks like a body part, it'll treat it" plants, like Lungwort.

            Can we called Ranunculus????
            it will appear flower and disappear like every year .....
            i quite like it , many variety are even sold as ornamental .

              It is very pretty but a big nuisance in spring, my garden has carpets of it, and I wish I had removed it completely before it had the chance to spread. I know it dies back but it chokes young shoots in spring and the tiny tubers are easily spread if you move soil or plants from one part of garden to the other. You can only really dig it out in spring when the foliage is on as you can't easily tell where it is after the foliage dies back.

                I love it, and so does Willow, its such a nice thing to see at the end of a long orrible winter.

                    since 2 weeks ago , that was the only flower to show up in my garden ....
                    it`s so rare to see weeds that actually look good

                      I agree, and I left it in the first place because I was a bit sentimental about it. It really says "Spring" to me, even more than daffodils.
