Just access utube enter - how to make a raised bed. I made a cold frame using window panes. Unfortunately our lab sat on the panes as she found them nice and warm and she fell through smashing the cold frames fortunately no damage to the dog.

Hi @paulkane1 , I find knee high raised bed quite comfortable for all the bending over. Mine is just a makeshift job done with old fence panels I took down, fixed together with angle brackets.

Carrots can be sown soon, depending on your local climate. Lettuce and radishes are also tolerant.

Fleece will help the seedlings a lot, and if you can use the windows as covers your bed will be perfect for a variety of hardy veg already now.

If you leave ample room between the soil and the glass it will be a great spot to allow cucumbers to creep around horisontally. :)

What's your plan regarding plants? What do you want to grow?
