Solved Red one and Green one for ID

    We have these two shrubs in the garden at our caravan , could some kind person ID them please. My knowledge of shrubs is a bit pathetic considering how long I have been gardening !

    Red one looks like a Smoke bush to me which is a Cotinus and the second looks like a little Box bush to me @HarryS

      I think the red one is a Berberis, does it have thorns?

      Green one new growth on a Box.

            Its strange how you cant always judge the scale when it comes to pictures, so can see where your coming from MF.

                    @HarryS there are loads of varieties of Berberis. It would be much harder to identify which one you have.
                    When we were propagating them by the thousand we ended up with perforated fingers. I like the ones with marbled red and cream leaves. :)
