Anyone else use this site ?

I've had some tools on there since Christmas, no response yet.

Just had a pm from the site owner, they are non profit, doing it because they think its a good idea & will benefit other people.

Not heard of it before. It's a good idea, but there isn't enough on there to make it worth while. Maybe if it could team up with Freecycle it might work.

I've not encountered this before, but I think its an excellent idea. I just think it will take a little while to establish. Maybe it could be promoted via Book Face if anyone has an account on there. Things can spiral quite rapidly on there.

It never does any harm to advertise in as many places as possible, but there are so many different internet based business directories that it is hard to find a single one that actually has significant numbers of users. When my mate and I had a go at our own business a few years ago, we spent many hours registering our site on as many online directories as we could find. When we checked our server logs we found that about 90% of our website's hits came direct from google searches, with the next most significant source being other major search engines, and a tiny percentage came from business directory websites. That said, at that time there were no specifically local directories that we could find, so maybe things are different nowadays.
