      Mine got demolished last year by slugs (I guess), is this common?

        Good evening @nFrost I had the same trouble last year,that's why I decided to put mine in a 3 feet high raised bed:smile:

          My Rhubarb is just like Woo's, with the exception I have put a morrisons flower bucket over one of the heads (Mmmn Rhubarb crumble)

            I still need to move mine on my plot and its starting to come up. Is it too late to do this year?

              Good morning @Jungle Jane the general rule is if its still in its dormant phase yes,but I am a firm believer in rules are meant to guide you not bind you,if it were me I would move it now anyway:smile:

                I would love some rhubard, but I don't think I have room. When I was a kid my grandad had a huge allotment with a rhubarb patch that was about 25ft by 10. We used to eat loads. My grand patent moved to Wales when they retired and sadly the whole allotment site has gone to rack and ruin.

                  Turns out I've been forcing my Rhubarb without knowing it:rolleyespink:.Whilst pottering in my veg patch I noticed the lid off my Nettle brew had been blown off and had landed on top of it.I'll be having some Rhubarb earlier than expected.I've covered it with a proper bucket now.:thumbsup:
