    Hi guys,

My dad passed away in June and we were giving a potted up rose from my best friend, it's called "my dad" and is a pinky red rose, at a guess a hybrid tea, pictures to follow...
My friend planted it up himself and I was thinking I'd leave it in the pot, unless it's likely to kill or damage it. For the reasons I have it, and the fact that it's a truly beautiful rose, I want to keep it alive.

Will it be ok in English weather in a pot over winter?? I live just south of London (for temperature purposes)

Good evening @Lewbo my friend yes a lovely Rose, I think it is FLORIBUNDA which grows to a height of 70/90cm and width of about the same ,It depends on the size of the pot,but personally I would respectfully suggest that it would be better suited if it were planted in the garden as Roses have very deep tap rootsit is quite a large vigerous Rose:smile:
