Rose suggestion please

I'm about to be a Godmother again (that's Godmother, not Grandmother!) and I thought a rose would be nice as part of the Christening gift. Unfortunately, I know nothing about roses so some help in finding exactly what I'm looking for would be greatly appreciated.

If possible I'd like it to fullfil the following criteria:

Hybrid tea
Bush/standard/shrub (or are they the same?) - i.e. not a climber or rambler
Bright/vivid orange or yellow (or some combination of the two)
And it really must be highly scented

It's not vital that I buy it for the Christening (in mid October) but when would be the best time to buy/plant it?

Finally, would you recommend buying mail order or would it be better to visit a specialist grower (assuming they had the particular rose I wanted)?
