    No gardening today - been out for the day here instead. Bottom of Shakespeare Cliffs,Dover...these 89 acres of "new land" were created from the spoils of digging out the Channel Tunnel on our side. A unique habitat which has been allowed to develop in its own way. Dogs must be on a lead so as not to disturb the wild life that has taken up residence. Just one simple café and loos but ample parking for £1. Managed and sponsored by Euro Tunnel. Visibility was good and the sea flat calm. A few piccies:

        I saw "Samphire Hoe" in the title and immediately thought of a tool for weeding or harvesting Samphire.
