Schizophragma hydrangeoides 'roseum'

Hi, does anyone grow schizophragma hydrangeoides? I was given one some years back and it's done well but not been in its forever spot yet. Was wondering how and where people are growing it? I know it would do well up a tree and that they grow massive but despite it seemingly loving the full sun aspect that it's been in for the last few years, I'm wondering if it will work better with some dappled shade, more mimicking where it would naturally grow.
