    Dear all,
I wonder if anyone could tell me for certain what is wrong with this Scots Pine. It seems to have some kind of fungal infection. Is it fatal? It does not seem to have inhibited its growth at all - I potted it two years ago after I found it growing elsewhere in the garden and it has been repotted twice since. Can anything be done to save it? I'm in northern Cumbria if that's of any significance.
    Many thanks, Tom

It sort of looks normal to me also.
The lower buds also have a white covering.
